Getting around McKinney is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Love Whole Foods. For years my wife has been wanting me to go to Whole Foods. My inaccurate perception was they are over priced and only support rich people :-). I love Whole Foods. Prices are compritible with other stores in the area. They have a cool Amazon discount and shopping carts that require no checkout line. I know ask my wife to wait for me so we can shop at Whole Foods.

Very disappointing and mis-managed store. During my most recent visit, which will probably be my last: 1. Almondmilk shelf filled with cartons set to expire the next day. 2. Meat & seafood counter clerk with little knowledge of what was there. Best he was qualified to do was cut a portion for sale. 3. Very poor selection and quantity of fish. Even the advertised sale items had one/two skimpy pieces available. 4.Wifi which barely worked preventing me from pulling up the 1-time QR Amazon code for discounts. 5. Health products with a price above list and higher than what Amazon website says Whole Foods lists it for sale. 6. Check-out clerk that acknowledged that they never get timely truck deliveries. 7. They are building a ton of apartments nearby. The place should be busy, but is not. Not worth the trip, especially with better stores nearby.

If you are in the McKinney area, this Whole Foods location is absolutely phenomenal and truly the gold standard of grocery shopping. The store itself is state-of-the-art, incredibly spacious, and consistently stocked with a massive quantity and selection of everything I need. Whether I am shopping in person or using their curbside service, the experience is flawless. Their curbside pickup is especially impressiveβ€”they are super quick about putting the order together and incredibly fast bringing it out to the car for my regular Saturday morning pickups. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this location. It is a massive, reliable, well-oiled machine that handles everything perfectly. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best grocery store in North Texas!

I visited this location recently and left extremely disappointed with the produce department. Whole Foods positions itself as a premium grocer, and at that price point, the standards should reflect it. Unfortunately, the produce section during my visit did not meet those expectations. There were multiple out-of-stock areas, displays that appeared loosely maintained, visible debris on the floor mats, and refrigeration units that did not appear recently cleaned. The overall presentation lacked the level of care and rotation I consistently see at other Whole Foods locations throughout Dallas and surrounding areas. Produce should be the star of the store. It sets the tone for freshness, quality, and operational discipline. Instead, the department felt overlooked and under-managed especially surprising on a busy Saturday with heavy foot traffic. As a result, I significantly reduced my intended produce purchase and left with only a few items. When customers are paying premium pricing for organic products, they expect premium execution. This location has the space and potential to deliver a much stronger experience. I hope store leadership takes a closer look at department standards

Next visit We keep going to this Whole Foods and every time we are greeted by clean aisles, orderly shelves well stocked with items and courteous customers and friendly staff. This time we got some freshly prepared Butternut squash soup containers which are BOGO Half off . Super deal at that ! We were in n out in a few minutes and used the self checkout kiosk which was very easy even though we are Prime customers and need to scan our in-store code.. We will continue visiting and shopping at this branch! β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€”β€” This was our first time visiting Whole Foods in Texas and we ever happy to do so. The produce was absolutely fresh and the place was neat and tidy and even the racks of items in all the aisles were well stocked and full. There were many discounted items clearly marked if you happened to be an Amazon member. But what struck us the most was the happy demeanor and genuine smiles on all the employees we interacted with. In fact, at the checkout counter, they wished us the best as we settle into Texas! We will be shopping at Whole Foods a lot more than we did before we moved to Texas. We sincerely appreciate Whole Foods welcoming us to Texas! Next update: We
